Plot Summary: Budapest 1489, everyone in a castle is murdered to prevent any of them carrying the lycanthrope gene from procreating. Unfortunately, they died in vain as one heartbroken mother could not kill her baby and had it smuggled out. Budapest 1989 Gail the writer, David Doink the photographer, Jonathan the playboy Tennis Player, Marylou the stupid actress/waitress, Richard the rational Dr. Peak, Ray the smart-ass, Anna the Scandinavian actress. are the 8 people chosen out of hundreds who applied for visas to attend the opening of a castle closed for 500 years. In an area where the devil was considered to be werewolf ordered closed by the prince it was punishable by death to talk about it. At a castle in Hungary a story is told of one of the most powerful families in Europe that inhabited the castle and all were mysteriously found dead. Professor Dawson has left the castle and a blizzard is raging outside. In the hot tub the two American guests notice that the y both have the same triangular birthmark on the inside of their elbows. The spooky castle complete with hidden doors, hallways and sliding walls. While looking for ray blank is killed by someone she knew before the transformation. It's a werewolf. Blank who witnessed that from behind a secret wall discovers the professor mangled in the secret passage which leads outside where the werewolf gets him. The photographer, David, and the tennis player sit down to talk about photography and girls, Marylou, Gail. The butler comes in and destroys their film. Marylou and Gail are talking about men and love. The weird guy arrives and asks have you seen Mr. Ray price or miss Gail Cameron? He looks in the drawing room Dr Peak she is not there. They break into one room to investigate but the door is locked from inside, the room is empty and a candle is missing. The count opens a secret passage and the three men enter. The photographer finds a watch and a button covered with blood. They gather in the drawing room. The passage some tunnels are fakes to confuse pursuers twenty times their number. They could be lost down there. The count suggests they split into groups. Dr Peak Peter=the butler and the big longhaired Richard guy wants to go with them to the water channel. The others proceed to the labyrinth. As Jonathan and Mary Lou go they realize someone is moving behind them rubbing the chalk off. Jonathan is chased by a werewolf and soon apprehended. Two parties soon stumble upon semiconscious Marylou. There are some stories according to the Count, of wolves killing people in the area. Gail and Ray may still be hiding on the wild animal down there is one theory, but most don't want to go back down there. The doctor wants to look at the counts ankle and Marylou has to be put to bed. The count dismisses his injury as just a sprain. Dr. Peak establishes that the button originally found downstairs belongs to the counts jacket. Several of the guests discover that all three of them grew up with no parents. They feel somehow that this castle group is not coincidental. Richard notices that blank has the same triangular birthmark inside her elbow shortly before he is wolfed down. Dr Peak says it can't be an animal because animals don t kill for pleasure. "Whatever it is it has human intelligence!?" David run towards Gail's voice, he and peak discover Gail dying "Werewolf!...It's!" Who is it. Ray, and the professor all with their throats ripped out. David now realizes they have been manipulated since they arrived in Budapest. The count has brought them all here. Peak runs a spear through a curtain sticking Richard but his throat is already ripped out. The count drifts in and Says Werewolf, the prophecy is fulfilled. The count explains that the birthmark is an hereditary trait and one of them is the werewolf. A religious order the Martyrs have found one of the people here to kill the others and so definitely destroy the one werewolf among them. 500 years earlier they were all wiped out but one baby which was smuggled out. Anna is awfully suspicious. The survivors are split into two camps, one believing the count must be destroyed and one believing David must be destroyed.
