The blood and pyrotechnics are blended in well despite all the dubbing, Spanish actors and bizarre dialogue and plot implausibilities. Basically the perfectly timed blood and gore split up the mildly interesting if ridiculousness and hopeless struggle of the moral Town planner to destroy several miles of slugs in one try. </div> <bR> <div> Plot Summary: Water bubbles up while a teenage couple fishes in a small rowboat. Wayne feels something slimy and is pulled into the water, then blood bubbles up. Meanwhile, a bunch of punks nearly runs over an elderly man. He tries to take a dog home with him, but it won't enter the house. The slugs get him. Maureen is drunk and her friends disapprove. Just another fun filled night in Ashton, "armpit of the universe". Don, the sewer gut. Kim the teacher and her husband Mike Brady start making out and their's a slug on their door. Someone calls a cop, Dobbs about slugs. The cop and mike go to the house where the slug eaten guy. Inspecting a complaint of backed up sewer and smell they find guts in a sewer pipe. The teenagers are planning a Halloween party despite the quiz on chapter 3 of Capulet and Montague. At the drunk lady's house slugs are laying eggs, meanwhile the slugs are killing gardener undebut he chops his hand off  and tips over a gas can and blows up his whole house wow. In Miss 's garden mike Brady gets bit by a slug gets it in a jar and takes it to his English friend John at the lab. Slugs have 3 or four rows of teeth with which they chew up their food mostly greens but some small animals bugs. The husband of the drunk lady has heartburn. The teenage makeout people start making out but get got by slugs. In the lab John watches a slug kill an hamster. Brady has a theory that maybe were dealing with a mutant breed of carnivorous slugs. Don Palmers men have been down in the sewer an d have found all kinds of half eaten animals. Part of town used to br a toxic waste site until 20 years ago. Mike gets a call from his wife the sink is full of slugs. The bodies continue to pile up. Get the fat Sheriff over to Frank Phillips office. Mike says cut off the water in the South End of town the contaminated water brings the slugs. He'll need an order from the mayor to ? At the same time an investment group is preparing to build a supermarket near the dump site. Mike breaks in on the mayors land sale meeting to announce a possible catastrophe. The Calgor people are not impressed. "This entire area used to be a toxic waste dump and not only that we have a mutant form of killer slug in our water system"  The Calgor people think he's nuts and sign the contract. The lab guy makes a lithium based arsenic, highly combustible when it comes into contact with moisture. Mike hopes to use it without blowing up the whole town. Mike tells John to be at 's house in three hours with the chemicals. Mike gets don the sewer guy who is skeptical, and convinces him to come along. Mike Don & John to corral the slugs in one sewer pipe attract them with a bid trash bag of meat and burn them up since the whole authority structure is deaf and greedy. Still this flawless plan has many obstacles to overcome if the armpit of the universe is to be saved.</div> </td> </tr></table></body>
