Like the original, a movie only a teenager could make. When Jessie awakes from his teen paranoid dream that he's a nerd, a real teen could only be comforted by the fact that he isn't much better in real life. In a fight he gets his pants pulled down and all the girls see his ass. He thinks his car is cool but its a shitbox. The girls are never barbie dolls. The truly nightmarish world of teens filled with overbearing, suspicious and hippocritical adults, and the embodiment of it all, old sharpfingers. Great fun.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B><U>Plot Summary</U></B><B>: We begin with some teenage girls laughing at an awkward teenage boy in the school bus. The bus has gone off the road, and now it is teetering on the edge of a crumbling abyss. Now Freddies's in the bus with them, his blade-fingers running along the bus's seats. His little sister asks why Jesse can't wake up like other people. He's just having a bad dream. He's not quite the nerd in real life that he was in the dream` The family has moved into Elm street. That night, he goes down stairs to the basement, and sees a man in a hat feeding body parts into the furnace. Jesse's been having nightmares, and hasn't been sleeping well. He's sleeping in biology class when a big boa constrictor wraps itself around him. One of the kids has put a snake on Jesse. They find the dary of Nancy Thompson, 1428 Elm street. He comes to me at night. He is dirty with steel claws. Tim is dead. Jesse recalls a story at school about the girl who had lived there before and was driven crazy when her boyfriend was butchered across the street. Soon, Jessee's looking under the stairs, and finds the clawed glove. Freddie urges him to try it on for size. He says 'kill for me'. One of the love birds has killed the other, and now is attacking the family, and then it explodes into flames for no reason. Jesse's father says that Jesse put a cherry bomb in the bird. Jessse goes to a late night bar. Soon an S&M guy approaches him. But then he's doing laps around the gym. Th S&M gym instructor, Snider, is being attacked by sports equipment in the equipment room. Then he's tied up in the shower room., and suddenly Jesse has the claws in his own hand. JEsse is found by the police wandering naked on the side of the road. Dad thinks it's drugs. Mom thinks he needs a psychiatrist. There's trouble at springwood high school. The gym teacher's been hacked up in the shower. That night Jesse opens the drawer, and there's the claw again. Dad, how come it took five years to sell the house? The girl friend, Lisa, thinks Jesse is just picking up some psychic signals. They go to the power plant where Freddie worked. Freddie kidnapped twenty kids, brought them here amd killed them. The girl friend thought that Jesse should be able to sense something, pick up a psychic connection. All they see is a rat. But the trip did set up Freddie to influence dreams better. Jesse's taking sta-up. The kids at school think Jesse's a bit freaked out. During a party, he is preparing for a sexual situation with his girl friend when suddenly it starts to happen again. Jesse goes to grady, and tells him to stop him if he starts to act wierd. Grady is in deep trouple. Freddie's eye is staring out of his mouth. Jesse gives birth to Freddie. It looks bad for Grady. Jesse's left standing in the room staring down at Grady's corpse. Jesse hops out thge window. He goes to the party and admits he killed Grady and Snider. Freddie owns him. Things are reallyheating up at the party. Even the beer is popping off. They go to the diary: We brought him into the world ourselves. Lisa thinks he can be fought. Freddie's here, Jesse's out: Jesse can't fight him, Freddie is him. Freddie thinks there is no Jesse. stabbing doesn't work too well. Soon Freddie's wreaking havoc at the party. Lisa goes to the power plant to seek out Freddie-Jessie. Just when Freddie's about to finish her, her 'I love you, Jessie' takes power away from Freddie. Futher expressions of love weaken Freddie still more. Lisa kisses Freddie. And then Freddie's burning again.</B></div> </td> </tr></table></body>
