Critique: Best viewed with a book to read. Dreadfully boring! The actors often give the impression of struggling with remembering the lines. The kids are particularly hard to watch. Plot Summary: Winter, a yellow Ford Econoline van winds through mountain paths before sliding and rolling off a cliff. a van flips off the road and the dead are buried. The survivor is helped off by an impudent group of orphans and a wierd nun, Sister Hanna and the black kid-orphan Brian plunder the dead and announces "Four present and accounted for. Everybody else is flat dead!" The congregation robs the bodies and drag off the living to their lair. The guy driving the van chases the kids and they assume he's died. "Brian! Christopher! The chidren resolve "He'll never take us back there!" Sister Hannah kills a man and all the children help. Meanwhile, Loving Husband Rick and wife x head off for in the caddillac with chains and antifreeze for a weehkend with her father Poppa Doc and uncle Harve their business associate at Lake Arrowhead Villahge. Harve is overlooked in favor of son-in-law Doctor for head of the new complex. The party of six arrives at their chalet. Behind the chalet the tiny crew struggles across the landscape. Ralph (of mice and men) the retard is yanked around by poppa doc's girltoy. She shows Ralph how to make love. Rick's girl and poppa's bitch slug it out over bitch's claim to have had him. Besotted Ruth keeps pushing Harv to put his best foot forward with Pappa Doc. Sister Hanna and the kids show up at the lodge, claiming to have been in an accident, and are taken in with open arms.
