"Misery" idea of author wanting to change genres Pet Sematery" scary George is indeed not a nice guy chess game with himself at the writing proficiency exam  Hitchcock bird attack, seventh sighn  Sheriff is from Henry Diary of a serial killer          dazzling sparrow effects and a decent bone picking job by the sparrows</B></div> <div> <B>Munich Symphony Orchestra</B></div> <bR> <div> <B><U>Plot Summary</U></B><B>: Castle Rock Maine. 1968 are you lonesome tonight" Aspiring writer Thaddeus Beaumont as a teenage boy composes and is hit by seizures that he associates with visions of birds. After his mother buys him a typewriter so that he may write with less stress he suffers another seixzure and is brought to the hospital where pieces odf a dormant twin absorbed into his brain before birth but suddenly reactivated are removed among them two teeth and a fully developed eye are removed from his brain - a very rare sort of tumor. The sky becomes black with birds as the operation progresses. 23 years later Thad is a professor of writing and struggling author and the happily married father of twins with his wife Beth. In his seminar he teaches that the writer has to let out the inner being and let it run wild. Fred Plaussen a student asks him to autograph his book, slimy novel that he writes under the pen name George Starks. Fred wants a big check to keep Thad's secret. At his Beth's urging, Thad goes public and George Stark is killed off.  Still Thad is used to working with George, his evil writer counterpart without inhibitions, George still smokes and drinks is given to fits of rage. Mike Donaldson of "People magazine" arrives. Thad explains that while he wrirtes with the typewriter given as a boy, George writes with a pencil. Mike mentions it sounds like schizophrenia. Thad forgives him but notes "George would want to have your balls for breakfast. The eccentric photographer Homer Gamosh makes a George Stark gravestone 1985-1991 "Not a very nice guy". Birds fly overhead. As his photographer drives through town he thinks he sees Thad and pulls over where the writer pulls him out the window and shows him the american way of death-no folderole. At the cemetary the groundskeeper discovers that someone dug themself out of the George Stark hole. The sheriff says forget it until he gets a look at the body of Homer Gamosh beaten to death with his own artificial leg and vows to get the killer. The truck is found in Conn. Sheriff Allen Pangborn arrives with two agents who accuse Thad of murdering Homer. As he defends himself he is suddenly sdistracted by birds screaming in his head. Prints in the truck don't look good. Mississippi are you lonesome tonight vase breaks flowers destroyed a furnace with a turkey in it Beth dead and fossilized her face explodes Starks tells him "You don't want to fuck with me!" When the police enter Plaussen's apartment, they find him brutally murdered on the wall in blood is written "The sparrows are flying again." At the same time Thad spaces out and birds and in his editing it says "The sparrows are flying again." Just then Sheriff Pangborn comes in with beer to talk, Thad's prints were in Claussen's apartment his tongue was cut out his penis was cut out and stuffed in his mouth just like he had wished. When the Sheriff mentions the sparrows, Thad turns white and pretends he's never heard it before. He admits to Beth that he wrote it on his paper but doesn't remember writing it and that he's hearing the birds again. His professor friend Reggie offers her help. He goes to office where he hears the birds and begins writing in a trance sparrows flying razor cuts forever Sissy fools then he hears Elvis. Simultaneously, his agent Miriam arrives at her office door and he bashes her and drags hetr into his office. He cuts her with a Razor and has her leave a message for Thad but when she blabs he slashes her throat. Thad calls Pangborn who calls NYPD. He describes a man rom his visions his size but stronger, probably going by the name of George Stark, from Mississippi with a hot rod Toronado. He thinks his agent and themike from people may also be in danger. At that moment, as the police rush to check on Mike, the killer beats kicks and slashes Mike to death. The killer then calls the agent Rick to inform him that Thad knows all about his wifes murderer, that he himself is a walking dead man.and that he's not yet done making fool's stuffing. Pangboen is not satisfied with Thad's theory that Stark has come to life. Rick is escorted home by police whon let him enter his apartment alone wher he discovers two slain cops in his bathroom with signs on their foreheads that read Tell Thad More fool's stuffing before starks slashes hinm quietly while the police stand watch outside. At Thads where surveillance technology has been installed police listen as Starks tells Thad it's over now that he's killed the secretary who leaked Stark's secret. The call came from a phone booth in Times Square with Thad's phone card. The Toronado was stolen from the lot where Homer's truck was found and the police are investigarting the possibility that Thad had an accomplice play a tape dfrom New York. At the grocery store George calls Thad and tells him to start a new book or he'll die like no other man has died before". Sheriff Langhorn gets a message. Thead goes with police escort to his office and grabs a pencil, and the sparrows begin to gather at his window, when he realizes "the sparrows are real" he begins to write George Stark new book If I don't I'll die falling apart losing necessary cohesion you son of a bitch get out of my head ahfter which he punches a hole in his hand with his pencil. Starks does the same pours Jack Daniels on it. Thad resolves to head for Bangor in a disguise with his fprof. friend's car he eludes his protecytion to find out if there are any clues in bangor. Starks stets out at the same time. The doctor explains of his operation and how his parents treated the material as human remains and when they stopped the sound in his head the sparrows tookral foerm and attacked the hospital - George slashes his throat in mid-sentence. Thad calls Beth and tells her to flee 20 minute from bangor and not to tell anyone who could tell him where she is but Panghorn overrules her and orders Thad's arrest. Reggie found that sparrows are psychpomps those who conduvct souls between the land of the dead and the land of the living in Greek mythology. They are interrupted by Stark who is calling from Thad's home and has killed the cop. Reggie wishes him luck in his showdown as the sparrows amass overhead.</B></div> </td> </tr></table></body>
